35th Amendment Declaration

The Declaration is what initially created our Association of 32 Units on the 36 acres along the Connecticut River. The Declaration, along with the various amendments, gets filed with the Town Clerk’s Office in the Town of Suffield and it sets out ownership rights and responsibilities of the Unit Owners, defines the Common Element and Limited Common Elements, and how our common ownership is governed. Generally, the Declaration was amended when Units were added up to the 32 Units that were part of the original plan. Later, the Declaration was also amended when the boundaries of a Unit or its Limited Common Element were modified by the Owner with the Board and approval of the other Unit Owners. Other Amendments to the Declaration were put in place to change certain aspects of how are community is governed.

Bylaws

These Bylaws set out the specifics of how our community is governed.

Deep Brook Harbor Rules

These Rules are developed by the Board with input from the entire community. These Rules are not offered as a Landlord gives rules to a tenant but rather these Rules are about how all of our residents propose to live in harmony as a community - we are all in this together. No Unit Owner and no Board Member has any “special rights” under the Rules - each Unit owner has the same rights and the same responsibilities.
