The Deep Brook Harbor Development

In the 1980s the Stewarts formed the Deep Brook Harbor Corporation which filed the initial declaration for our community.

The early 1980s was a difficult time for real estate developers and our community went through several different developers.  Originally, the 32 homes were to have been completed by June of 1992 but at that time only half of the project was completed.  Development rights were extended by a vote of the Unit Owners and the last of the 32 homes was completed in 2001.

In the mid-1990s, the developer handed over management of the Common Elements to the Association. Since then, the Unit Owners have collectively managed the development through an elected board of residents generally serving as unpaid volunteers.
